We decided to make our car parking on the west side of the house (prior to that we had thought that would be a nice place to sit and have it as a paved area for an extra bit of garden- this was until we realised that it was far too windy on that side to be enjoyable!)We were busy all summer sorting out retaining walls and planning paving. We hid the oil tank behind walls too.
