April Weather Statistics

The rainfall recorded at Low Row in April amounted to 6.06” (154 mm) which is 242% of the 10-year average for the month.  There was also 6” of snow recorded on 2^nd April. The cumulative rainfall for the last 12 months is 48.13” compared with the 10 year average of 49.3”.  Based on the 10-year averages, April is usually the driest month and in 2011 there was just 1.22” recorded.   However, this has been the wettest April since April 2000 when 6.87” rainfall was recorded.
